PortoBay Hotels in Portugal awarded with the Green Key 2023

All PortoBay hotels in Portugal were awarded the Green Key 2023, an international prize which promotes Sustainable Tourism.

The hotels PortoBay Liberdade (Lisbon), PortoBay Marquês (Lisbon), PortoBay Flores (Porto) and PortoBay Teatro (Porto) received the Green Key award for the first time, joining the remaining hotels of the group, in Algarve (PortoBay Falésia) and Madeira Island (The Cliff Bay, Les Suites at The Cliff Bay, Porto Mare, Suite Hotel Eden Mar, The Residence, Porto Santa Maria and PortoBay Serra Golf).

Green Key turns the spotlight on good environmental and social practices, which value environmental management and promote Environmental Education for Sustainability.

This programme is run by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), based in Denmark, and is coordinated in Portugal by the European Blue Flag Association (ABAE).
