Even so, we know that it’s sometimes hard to find activities that live up to the imagination of the younger ones — and that also allow parents to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet. Aqualand, Alcantarilha

Who doesn't love a water park with more slides and pools than you can count? While adults can have fun in the wave pools and the typical tube slides at Aqualand, the "Children's Paradise” and the "Rainbow Park” are a true aquatic paradise for the youngest. Here you’ll find swimming pools, mini slides, giant crayons and inflatable castles.

The park also has a souvenir shop and a restaurant to recharge your batteries. Take advantage of transportation to the park, available from various points throughout the Algarve, and have fun!

ZooMarine, Albufeira

This is an experience that will appeal to children and adults alike. Get ready to spend the day with seals, sharks, turtles, exotic birds and lots of tropical fish!

If you like dolphins, be sure not to miss "Dolphins Emotions", one of the most popular attractions at ZooMarine. You’ll be amazed by the leaps, acrobatics and friendliness of the dolphins. It is a show that will leave youngsters speechless.

At the end of the day, enjoy a movie in the 4D cinema, dive into one of the pools or play on the water slides.

 

Family Golf Park, Vilamoura

After all, golf isn't just for grown-ups: the Family Golf Park is a mini-golf circuit that does justice to Vilamoura's fame for those who can't resist taking a few shots — even while on vacation!

The golf courses are surrounded by columns and pillars reminiscent of ancient Rome, and promise fun times for the whole family. In addition to the courses, there is a special area for younger children, a game room and a snack bar with a terrace where you can take a break between shots.

 

Luso Aventura Adventure Park, Albufeira

If you and your family are fans of extreme sports and can’t say no to a good dose of adventure on vacation, the Luso Aventura Adventure Park is a must-see.

Put your dexterity to the test and have fun on a tree-top walk, going from tree to tree until you reach the highest difficulty level. Children aged four and up can also join their parents in this game.

Algarve Seafaries, Vilamoura
