Special Safety Measures at Madeira

Madeira island has implemented special safety measures. The measures implemented in Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve do not apply to the island of Madeira.

The following measures are in force:

- There are no restrictions for travelers at airports, ports and marinas in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

- The use of a mask is mandatory, from the age of 6, to access or stay in the spaces indicated below:

• Health facilities and services, including pharmacies;​
• In confirmed cases of COVID-19, in all circumstances, whenever they are out of their place of isolation until the 10th day after the date of onset of symptoms or positive test.
