PortoBay Hotel Teatro opened its doors

The PortoBay Hotel Teatro, the first hotel of the PortoBay group in Porto, has opened its doors. This four-star themed hotel with an exclusive design was recently acquired by the group. It has a prime location on Rua Sá da Bandeira in the historic centre of the city, a few steps from the main tourist attractions including São Bento Station, Clérigos Tower, Porto Cathedral, Avenida dos Aliados, Lello Bookshop, Bolhão Market and the well-known Cais da Ribeira, the Douro riverfront. ..

The hotel was built on the site of the former Baquet Theatre, opened in 1859. Today, the theatrical theme is very much in evidence with the hotel’s unique, refined and bohemian atmosphere. The 74 spacious rooms, divided into 5 categories, offer a contemporary, individual and comfortable feel. The hotel also has a restaurant, bar, small gym and meeting space.
