THE WINE LIST

Il Gallo d'Oro's wine list has around 400 top-quality wines, the majority being Portuguese. In addition to these, there is also a selection of champagnes from some of the world's most respected houses. It's worth pointing out the extensive collection of Madeira wines which includes vintages from 1860.

One new feature Sommelier Leonel Nunes highlights are the Cellar wines: wines with more age, numbered bottles, and wines that are not to be found on the market.  These can make more classic pairings adapted to the new dishes on the menu.

In recent years, the wine list has won several awards:

• "Best of Award of Excellence”_ Wine Spectator (2016 - 2023)
