PortoBay group wins nine awards

Six hotels from the group distinguished by TUI, Schauinsland-Reisen, and Nordic Leisure Travel Group

The PortoBay group was honored with nine awards at the ITB Berlin fair, which took place from March 4 to 6. The distinctions were granted by three major tour operators: TUI, Schauinsland-Reisen, and Nordic Leisure Travel Group, mostly based on customer feedback.

TUI, one of the world’s largest tour operators, of German origin, awarded The Cliff Bay, a 5-star hotel in Funchal, with the Global Hotel Awards 2024, in the Top 100 Hotels category. Meanwhile, the hotels PortoBay Santa Maria, Porto Mare, Suite Hotel Eden Mar, and PortoBay Falésia received the "TUI Global Hotel Awards Quality Winner 2025" distinction.

PortoBay Falésia was also recognized with the "Top Hotel Partner 2024" and "Top Hotel Partner 2025" awards by Schauinsland-Reisen, standing out for its commitment to guest satisfaction and strong partnership with this tour operator.

Additionally, Nordic Leisure Travel Group acknowledged two PortoBay hotels in different categories. The Cliff Bay was ranked "One of our 10 best hotels worldwide 2024", while The Residence received the "One of the top 3 hotels on Madeira 2024" award, reinforcing the group’s reputation in the Scandinavian market.

With just three months into 2025, PortoBay Hotels & Resorts has already accumulated 32 awards, reflecting its commitment to quality, excellence, and guest satisfaction.
