PortoBay Falésia partially refurbished
January and February were dedicated to upgrades at PortoBay Falésia. The first phase of hotel refurbishment is now finished. Find out what’s new !!
Rooms with refurbished bathrooms
The bathrooms of some of the hotel's south-facing rooms have been refurbished. Shower trays, new bathtubs, blue marble surfaces and back-lit mirrors are some of the new features that give the latest PortoBay hotels a more modern, stylish image. All rooms in the hotel now have new hair dryers (2300W) and 32-inch televisions.
New menu at the Falésia restaurant
The iconic restaurant next to the cliffs has a new concept. Chef Ricardo Cabrita offers a revamped dinner menu, where Portuguese dishes with a Mediterranean touch take centre stage. Highlights include typical Algarve appetisers such as raw tuna salad, black pudding and apple tapa and polenta soup with clams and crackling. As for dessert, the typical mix of Algarve sweets is sensational !!
Restaurant buffet with new ambiance
The Madeira restaurant, the hotel's main restaurant, has also been refurbished. Light wood finishes, shades of green, wallpapers, bench seats, large windows and new lighting give a more comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The greens of the plants connect the restaurant to the natural surroundings so close to the hotel.
New lounge for relaxing
A new outdoor lounge has also been created next to the tennis court, with spectacular views of Falésia beach. This means that the hotel now offers four viewpoints and lounges, ideal for those relaxing moments so appreciated by our guests.
