MORE €75,742 FOR HOPE

PortoBay together with their guests have managed to raise more than €75,000 for the Hope project! These are the results of the latest annual campaign for this social sustainability project, which ended in September. In 11 years, we have donated €615 000! Thank you very much for your colaboration!

On the latest HOPE campaign, the majority of our guests contributed, and 706 of them gave an extra contribution.  It is also thanks to these contributions that we have been, year after year, exceeding the expected fundraising amounts.

This year, HOPE donations were delivered by PortoBay Group employees to the seven welfare institutions in Madeira, the Algarve, Lisbon and Porto. It was an opportunity to get to know the projects supported by HOPE at first hand, and understand the importance of PortoBay's contribution in their development. Meet the welfare institutions!!

The HOPE by PortoBay social sustainability project has existed since 2012 to support social welfare associations in Portugal, in the locations where the group has hotels. Since it was set up, PortoBay makes an annual contribution and counts with the contribution of the guests by having €1 (per room, per stay) added to their account. In 11 years, a total of €615,000 have already been delivered to the institutions supported.

We managed to reach the goal set for 2023, which was to raise €600,000 and surpass it! We are counting on you to continue changing lives.
