Avista Ásia kicks off the first 2025 edition of "Duets"
The “Duetos” gastronomic event returns this year with its first edition taking place at Avista Ásia, located at the hotel Les Suites at The Cliff Bay, on 21st and 22nd February.
For this edition, Chef Rui Pinto will welcome Chef Rafael Oyama from Vila Joya Sea, in the Algarve, to create an exclusive menu that blends the flavours of Madeira with the refined techniques of Asian cuisine.
The dinners will feature a carefully curated selection of dishes, including steamed chive buns, pargo tartare with nori, omakase sushi, monkfish with miso and fennel, and wagyu with fermented shiitake mushrooms. To conclude the experience, the chosen dessert will be a yuzu vacherin with tangerine and kaffir lime.
"Duetos" is a series of gastronomic events by PortoBay Hotels & Resorts. By definition, a duet is a “composition performed by two voices or two instruments.” The Duetos concept follows the same principle, bringing together the resident chef and the guest chef to create a unique culinary composition, blending local ingredients and products from their respective regions.
