The "Duetos" gastronomic event is back, this time in a double edition at Avista Ásia!
On February 21st and 22nd, Chef Rui Pinto welcomes Chef Rafael Oyama from the Algarve-based Vila Joya Sea for two exclusive dinners that blend the flavours of Madeira with the refined techniques of Asian cuisine.
The specially crafted menu features unexpected combinations such as scarlet prawn suimono, monkfish with miso and fennel, barley, sake, and Thai basil, among other exquisite creations.
To complement the experience, wine pairing will be curated by sommelier Francisco Borralho, also from Vila Joya Sea, and resident sommelier Sérgio Basto, ensuring a perfect harmony of flavours.

"Duetos" (Duets) is the name of the new series of gastronomic events by PortoBay Hotels & Resorts. By definition, a duet is a "composition performed by two voices or two instruments". The Duets we are proposing are also made by two voices, the resident chef and the guest chef, and the result is also a composition, in this case culinary, between the products and ingredients from the restaurants' places of origin. This culinary composition will be accompanied by live music.
