Student Concerts

The PortoBay Group, through its hotels The Cliff Bay and Vila Porto Mare, provides a stage for the Music students of the Madeira Conservatory of Arts. From January to April, guests can enjoy weekly recitals by these young students every Thursday, lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes. PortoBay is proud to support the journey of these talented young musicians, residents of Madeira Island, who will treat us to the classical sounds of Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Bach, and many other renowned composers.

Performing recitals outside the conservatory is a vital step in solidifying the students' learning experience. It emphasizes the importance of performing in front of an audience, fostering skills in relationship-building, self-confidence, stage presence, performance, and discipline. This is an essential experience for the professional growth of our young musicians.

The recitals are exclusively for the guests of PortoBay hotels, and reservations are required. Seating is limited.
