On January 25th, at 9pm, join us at the Fundação Oriente Auditorium in Lisbon for the PortoBay concert with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra!
This program begins at the break of day and ends in an intense storm, after the evening twilight. These are three symphonies with which Haydn aimed to better understand the musicians of the orchestra of the Princes of Eszterházy, whose direction he had recently assumed in 1761. He composed in such a way that all the musicians could shine. For this reason, some moments resemble true solo concertos.
