A classical concert not to be missed!

On the 31st of December and 1st of January, the Vila Porto Mare resort and The Cliff Bay hotel will host PortoBay Classic Talents, an event aimed at strengthening the connection to the culture of Madeira Island and honouring the musicians who contribute to the local cultural heritage.

During these days, violinist Nikita Kuts, accompanied by pianist Olga Kuts, will perform a classical music programme, sharing their talent and providing a special musical experience.

About Nikita Kuts...

He began studying the violin at the age of 6 and graduated with distinction from the Madeira Conservatory. He has won several awards, including 1st place at the Capela Competition in Lisbon.
He was a soloist with the Madeira Classical Orchestra and was part of the "Orquestra XXI". He completed his Bachelor's degree at the Amsterdam Conservatory and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Vienna School of Music and Arts with Dalibor Karvay.

About Olga Kuts...

Originally from Ukraine, she began studying piano at the Mykolaiv Public Music School, graduating with distinction in 1994. She graduated from the S.S. Prokofiev Conservatory of Donetsk (2000) in piano, organ, and chamber music, with qualifications as a teacher and accompanist.
She taught at music schools in Ukraine from 1994 to 2002 and, since 2013, has been working as a piano teacher and accompanist at the Madeira Conservatory – School of Arts. She has participated in various projects as a chamber musician and accompanist.
