BEACHES

Costa da Caparica's beaches stretch for 20 km and are very popular with visitors and locals. On reaching Costa da Caparica, you can explore its 15 km of coastline using the Transpraia train. There are beaches to suit all tastes, with different atmospheres, bars and restaurants. The last train stop is at Praia da Fonte da Telha.

Carcavelos beach is the largest beach on the Estoril coast (around 1.5 km long) and is very lively and popular. The beaches at Cascais, although narrower, are a great choice for a stroll along the seafront, even outside the bathing season. Guincho beach is most famous for surfing.
