10 km from Albufeira is the best known of the Algarve theme parks: Zoomarine. Open all year round, the park is known mainly for its dolphins. In addition to having several water attractions and fun shows, Zoomarine offers educational and scientific projects. In recent years, it has returned some captive animals to the ocean and tried to help others who are found injured and weakened. We also suggest a visit to the Parque Aventura in Albufeira, for a treetop experience or paintball, and KrazyWorld to see lemurs and reptiles up close.
