SÃO PAULO AQUARIUM

The São Paulo Aquarium is divided into several sections such as the Shark Tank, Jurassic Aquarium, Australian Sector, Polar Bears’ Enclosure, Africa or Indonesia Sector.

Opened in 2006, it was the first theme aquarium in Latin America. Today, with about four million litres of water, it houses thousands of animals that create the sensation of being on the seabed. There is a replica of a WWII submarine and a shipwreck - built with giant viewing windows and transparent ceilings.

The freshwater attractions are the fish and animals of the Wetlands and Amazon, as well as an authentic reproduction of the mangroves on the coast of São Paulo, with typical trees, red and blue crabs and other features that make this Aquarium an unforgettable attraction in São Paulo.
